ICT Group sold its stake in Polymetal to an Omani fund. A subsidiary of Omani state fund Mars Development and Investment LLC (MDI LLC) has become Polymetal's new largest shareholder.
MDI LLC purchased 113,201,189 Polymetal shares from Powerboom Investments Limited, a subsidiary of ICT Holding Limited. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. In May 2023, the United States introduced restrictions against Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC and Polymetal. In August, Polymetal completed its re-registration in Kazakhstan.
