MDI LLC purchased 113,201,189 Polymetal shares from Powerboom Investments Limited, a subsidiary of ICT Holding Limited, which previously controlled 23.9% of the company's share capital.
The completion of the transaction was notified on January 28, 2024.
At the same time, the representative of ICT Holding Konstantin Yanakov left the board of directors of Polymetal.
The Company expects MDI LLC to nominate a representative shortly. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In May 2023, the United States introduced restrictions against Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC and Polymetal.
In August, Polymetal completed its re-registration in Kazakhstan.
