Gasoline prices rise sharply for the third week in a row. On Tuesday it was 1.732 euros per liter: 0.2 cents higher than a week ago and 1.5 cents more than three weeks ago.

The ADAC sees the higher oil price as the main reason for the current increase in gasoline. A barrel of Brent crude oil now costs almost $90 again. This is the highest level in five months. If you want to save money on gas, you should go to the pump in the evening if possible.
