The Japan Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises and Innovation, an independent administrative agency, has recently partnered with three crowdfunding companies. Crowdfunding, which solicits funds from a wide range of individuals over the Internet, usually charges about 10% to 20% of the amount raised as administrative and settlement fees.
In this initiative, we are targeting businesses in the four disaster-affected prefectures of Ishikawa, Toyama, Fukui, and Niigata by significantly lowering the fees when using crowdfunding.
