In order to support businesses affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in raising funds for recovery and reconstruction, the government is collaborating with operating companies to develop an initiative that allows crowdfunding, which solicits funds from a wide range of individuals, to be utilized while significantly reducing fees. It's starting.

The Japan Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises and Innovation, an independent administrative agency, has recently partnered with three

, Makuake , and READYFOR.

Crowdfunding, which solicits funds from a wide range of individuals over the Internet, usually charges about 10% to 20% of the amount raised as administrative and settlement fees.

Therefore, in this initiative, we are targeting businesses in the four disaster-affected prefectures of Ishikawa, Toyama, Fukui, and Niigata by significantly lowering the fees when using crowdfunding, and paying only 5% of the amount raised as a payment fee. It means to subtract it.

In addition, external experts with extensive experience in crowdfunding will be used to advise on how to promote the business and provide necessary support to effectively raise funds.

Takashi Inoue, Director of Business Support at the Japan Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, said, ``I think there are some people who are not familiar with crowdfunding or who don't know about it, so I hope that a wide range of businesses will utilize it and work towards recovery and reconstruction as quickly as possible.'' I am.
