First shipment of humanitarian aid arrives in Gaza by sea. Some 200 tons of food which took several days to reach the Palestinian enclave.

This is very little compared to the immense needs of the 2.3 million Gazans threatened with famine. A second humanitarian aid ship is already loading in the port of Larnaca, Cyprus. However, in the opinion of all those involved in the humanitarian field, we are still very far from a system that will make it possible to have a real impact on the supply of the Palestinian population.
