Federatur joins the PP and brings to the Constitutional Court the Catalan regulation that limits tourist apartments. "Barcelona may lose large fairs such as Mobile or ISE with the new law against tourist apartments," says Federatur president David Riba.
With the new decree, the regime ofprior urban planning license for terms of five years will be mandatory in 140 municipalities included in the category ofstressed market. On the other hand, the town councils will decide the maximum number of homes for tourist use, that is, the limit established by the Government of 10 per 100 inhabitants.
