FAS initiated 28 antimonopoly cases in the fuel market in Russia. On December 27, the Federal Antimonopoly Service opened cases against LUKOIL subsidiaries in Nizhny Novgorod and Perm due to markups on gasoline at gas stations.

In addition, thanks to government measures to stabilize the market, prices for petroleum products are being held back in both the retail and wholesale segments, Maxim Shaskolsky emphasized. The cases were opened in 19 regions of Russia.
