Escrivá is developing software that helps officials write documents in a more understandable way. The program will alert public workers when they are using too technical terms or abusing administrative jargon.

Escrivá was among the candidates to succeed Nadia Calviño in the Ministry of Economy, so his current appointment sounded like a consolation prize or even an intermediate step before occupying the position of governor of the Bank of Spain. All these measures are part of the integration of Public Function and Digital Transformation, which now form a single Ministry.
