Dave Calhoun, CEO of Boeing, will leave his position this year after the latest safety failures of his planes. Board Chairman Larry Kellner has also told the company that he does not plan to run for re-election.

In January, the United States air regulator, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), opened an investigation into Boeing with an Alaska Airlines 737-9 (MAX) from which part of the fuselage detached in mid-flight.
