[HIGHLIGHTS] Central Bank: 17 more banks are preparing to join the digital ruble pilot

Central Bank: 17 more banks are preparing to join the digital ruble pilot. Among them are Tinkoff Bank, Sberbank of Russia, Rosselkhozbank and other credit organizations.

At the moment, 13 banks and about 600 citizens are participating in testing operations. In 2024, about 30 Russian banks will be involved in piloting the digital Ruble. The pilot is expected to be completed by the end of the year, the Central Bank of Russia said in a statement.
