Ben Gvir wants to ban Palestinians from the West Bank from the Mosque Esplanade for Ramadan. This is a resolution unanimously adopted by the Israeli government during its weekly meeting this Sunday morning.

Israel will continue to oppose unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state. It would reward terrorism, especially after the events of October 7. A permanent agreement with the Palestinians, the resolution states, must be the result of direct negotiations between the parties, without preconditions. Only Israeli Arabs aged over 70 will be able to go to the third holiest site of Islam: there is no question of allowing a Hamas victory celebration.
