The Zhanjiang Bay submarine tunnel, an important node of the high-speed railway, was successfully completed. Construction of the entire line started on June 30, 2020, with a total investment of approximately 99.8 billion yuan.
The line starts from Guangzhou Station, passes through Foshan, Zhaoqing, Yunfu, Yangjiang, Maoming, Zhan Jiang and other cities. The total length of the main line is approximately 401 kilometers with a designed driving speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
