Yamanashi Prefecture and Kofu City announced on the 7th that it has been confirmed that a total of five men and women in their teens to 60s who live in the prefecture are infected with the new coronavirus.
All five are mildly ill.
A total of 1001 people have been confirmed to be infected in Yamanashi Prefecture.
Also, according to the prefecture, it was found that three women living in the prefecture who announced the infection by the 6th were infected with the mutated coronavirus.
This brings the number of confirmed infections to the mutated virus in the prefecture to five.
