Shiga Prefecture announced on the 30th that it was confirmed that 60 people in the prefecture were newly infected with the new coronavirus.
This is the fifth time since May 15th that more than 60 people have been confirmed infected.
A total of 5978 people have been confirmed to be infected in the prefecture.
