The Argentine football team, without its stars Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Angel di Maria, did not less than squashed Mexico 4 to 0, Tuesday at the Alamadome of San Antonio (Texas), with a triplet of Lautaro Martinez.

On a lawn in bad condition, Albiceleste, taking advantage of the mistakes of the Mexican central defense composed of Nestor Araujo and Carlos Salcedo, knocked out the Aztecs, and folded the case in less than 40 minutes.

Martínez, the Inter Milan striker, first struck twice in the 17th and 22nd minutes. Paris Par's teammate Leandro Paredes scored the 3-0 goal in the 33rd minute, before Martinez, again, scored the hat-trick by scoring his third goal in the 39th minute.

Martinez first mystified three defenders to open the score with a low shot (1-0, 17). He doubled the bet five minutes later in front of a strangely absent defense on a Palacios pass.

Paredes, who is only a substitute for PSG, took advantage of a whistled penalty for a hand in the surface of a Mexican to spice up the bill (3-0, 33).

Finally, Martinez delivered the final blow to a routed Mexican army in the 39th minute, once again on a pass from Palacios, who recovered a ball lost in midfield by Edson Alvarez. Martinez resisted a charge from Araujo before clearing goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa (4-0, 39th).

The Argentineans still had opportunities in the second half, but the score did not move until the final whistle. And Gerardo Martino, the Argentinian side, lamented his first loss in 12 games as coach of the Mexico team. But what a defeat!
