The data on the advance of the coronavirus pandemic in Spain published this Monday by the Ministry of Health reflect that the accumulated incidence in the last 14 days continues to decline.

This Tuesday, the accumulated incidence has fallen to 235 cases per 100,000 inhabitants

, leaving the threshold that was set as "extreme risk."

Only in one autonomous community is this figure below 100, Extremadura (96).

And below 200, seven regions continue.

Balearic Islands (110, 14), Canary Islands (110, 24), Cantabria (168.65), Castilla-La Mancha (164, 50)

, Murcia (140, 50), Navarra (151.94) and La Rioja (138, 26).

In the risk assessment, Spain is now at "high" risk of 150 to 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

The medium risk range is between 50 and 150 cases

and the average risk would be between 25 and 50. What is known as the new normal should be established at 25 or less than 25 cases of coronavirus per 100,000.

Melilla with 434 AI

The highest rate of AI at 14 days is presented by Melilla (434), followed by Madrid (362.53) and Ceuta (331.46).

Regarding the death toll, 443 new deaths have been registered.

In total, official data already recorded 68,079 deaths due to Covid-19 in our country.

With regard to healthcare pressure, this Tuesday the number of patients hospitalized for Covid in Spain fell by more than a thousand (1,039): 15,208 admissions were reported on Monday and 14,169,208 were recorded today.

Of these, 3,533 remain in the ICU (compared to 3,739 on Friday), a figure that has remained in the last 24 hours.

Bed occupancy

The percentage of beds occupied by Covid patients has also decreased slightly.

Currently, this figure is 11.27%.

In the case of the percentage of occupied ICU beds, these patients represent 31.54%.

By autonomy, Madrid is the one with the most hospitalized Covid patients (2,994).

They are followed by Catalonia (2,763), Andalusia (2,151), Valencian Community (1,356) and Castilla y León (1,032).

The autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla, with 31 and 19 patients respectively

, are the ones with the lowest number of hospitalized for covid.

Compared to the rest of Europe, Spain

is the fourth country on the continent with the highest number of confirmed cases (3,161,432)

since the start of the pandemic.

Only Russia (4,177,330), the United Kingdom (4,126,150) and France (3,609,827) are ahead.
