In March 2022, the O₂ concept, a 2+2 electric roadster, received a particularly favorable reception.
So favorable that Polestar has decided to offer it in large series under the name Polestar 6. Scheduled to be marketed in 2026, this model will share its underside with the Polestar 5 sedan expected for 2024.
The characteristics are rather attractive, with an electrical architecture operating at a voltage of 800 V and two motors developing 884 hp and 900 Nm. Enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 s and reach 250 km without any difficulty. /h.
No details have been given as to the capacity of the battery, but the manufacturer announces a range of more than 600 km.
The first 500 production cars will be available as an exclusive numbered Polestar 6 LA Concept edition.
This will be distinguished by its 21-inch alloy wheels, a unique Sky Blue paint finish, special graphics on the side of the bodywork and a leather interior that meets the highest animal welfare standards.
