In Germany, an accelerated procedure for obtaining the necessary permits is being worked out.

According to the Dutch Cabinet, the production platform will be located 19 km north of Schiermonnikoog and Borkum.

It is assumed that the first gas production will be carried out by the end of 2024.

Dutch Minister for Climate and Energy Policy Rob Jetten said earlier that GasTerra's refusal to comply with Gazprom's terms of paying for gas in rubles will lead to problems filling gas storage facilities in the Netherlands by winter.

On May 31, Gazprom completely stopped gas supplies to the Dutch company GasTerra due to non-payment in rubles.
