The Secretary General of the Brazilian Foreign Ministry announced the expansion of meat and fish supplies to Russia. Russian and Brazilian representatives agreed to develop cooperation in such areas as economics, culture, science and technology, and education.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira noted their desire to strengthen relations between the two countries. The two countries also agreed to increase supplies of natural gas to the other country. The Russian government is also expected to increase the supply of diesel fuel to Brazil.
