"It's very good here. Although I'm far away from home, I don't feel lonely." Fabio Farinon, an Italian, said in an interview with a reporter from Chinanews.com in Chongqing on the 28th. As "the first person in a family's cross-border marriage", he enjoys Italian town ice cream very much. The feeling of "holding hands" in Chongqing, China, spicy hot pot.
Fabio is currently working for Western Airlines, a subsidiary of China's HNA Aviation Group, as a captain, and has been flying for 18 years in Italy, Singapore and China.
For love, he became a Chinese son-in-law and deeply felt everything here through work and life.

"Before, I knew very little about China." Fabio said, he was born in the town of Cacio, in the province of Bergamo, Italy, and only vaguely knew about China in textbooks or travel guides.
Around 2000, his sister came to Hebei, China for an internship, and he began to understand China.
Fabio is a travel and extreme sports expert, and his in-depth understanding of China begins here.
In his opinion, China is vast and rich, with countless mountains, waters, jungles, deserts, rich climate and landform resources, suitable for different extreme sports.
"The Chinese are always trying to communicate with me and are happy to help." Fabio said he likes the enthusiasm of the Chinese.
While working in Singapore, he met Huang Ting, a Chinese girl from Chongqing who can speak three languages. He fell in love in 2014 and moved to Chongqing to live together after marriage.
The marriage of the two is also called the combination of "ice cream and hot pot". In Fabio's opinion, Chongqing has the most delicious hot pot in the world. From the first bite of this spicy food, he fell in love deeply. ; In Huang Ting's opinion, the ice cream in the town of Cacio, Italy, is one of the best ice creams in the world.

The first time I ate hot pot was in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. Because of the cold weather, Huang Ting suggested to eat hot pot. She was worried that Fabio would not be used to it, and joked, "If you don't eat it, just watch me eat it." As a result, Fabio ate more than she did.
Italian ice cream is hand-made and has a delicate taste, giving Huang Ting a "taste of home".
These two foods have deep roots in both places.
Chongqing is known as the "Hot Pot Capital of China". By the end of 2021, there are 16,600 operating units and nearly 30,000 hot pot stores. Chongqing hot pot stores have gone to five continents in the world, and hot pot base materials have been exported to more than 20 countries and regions.
Italians have an almost paranoid adherence to food and have a "university of ice cream", the Italian word for ice cream is "gelato", a unique word.

If conditions permit, the two will travel back and forth between Italy and China every year to "explore" together.
During the period, they have a new harvest.
In the Alps, Fabio taught Huang Ting to ski, and in just 5 days, she took her from the green track (primary track) to the black track (advanced track).
During the tour of Mount Tai and Huangshan in China, Fabio fell in love with the self-driving tour, and the accumulated self-driving mileage has now approached 1,000 kilometers.
