Here, smelting projects using hydrogen metallurgy technology have been put into operation steadily.
Compared with traditional blast furnace metallurgy, its carbon emissions are reduced by more than 30%; sulfur dioxide emissions are reduced by 38%, nitrogen oxides are reduced by 48%, and particulate matter is reduced by 89%. The high-purity pig iron products it produces are wind power, nuclear power, rail transit, etc. High-quality raw materials urgently needed by the high-end equipment manufacturing industry.

The name of this process is "hydrogen-based smelting reduction".
It is in line with the national low-carbon development direction, and also in line with the national hydrogen metallurgy development direction.
If we can promote this hydrogen metallurgy and hydrogen-based smelting reduction (technology) very well, it can promote the construction of the local hydrogen energy city, help the local environmental improvement, and will not delay the local industrial economic construction.
[Explanation] Baotou City is an important origin of rare earth resources in China. Relying on this advantage, a complete industrial chain from rare earth raw ore mining to terminal application has been formed locally.
The reporter visited Baotou Rare Earth High-tech Zone and learned that the miniature voice coil motor independently developed by Chinese companies using rare earth materials can improve the imaging quality of the camera, reach the international leading level in technology, and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of domestic substitution for imports. The development of the industry It also extends the terminal application field of rare earth magnetic materials.
[Explanation] At the G7 western dry port in Baotou City, the digital freight logistics model has greatly increased the vehicle turnover rate.
A closed container with a unified specification can effectively solve the cinder overflow and environmental pollution.
After the truck unloads the container, the subsequent coal unloading work is undertaken by the hydrogen energy heavy truck.
The electric coal transportation ecosystem built by this model not only promotes the construction of the local green logistics system, but also has a positive effect on the local hydrogen energy truck industry chain.
