In response to a series of damages caused by withdrawal of deposits and savings from bank accounts through electronic payment services, businesses that handle services such as NTT DoCoMo and KDDI will quickly create a new mechanism to share information on suspected fraudulent users. became.

We would like to start operation within the next fiscal year to prevent damage.

Regarding electronic payment services, last year it became clear that deposits and savings were illegally withdrawn from bank accounts through "docomo accounts," and businesses that provide similar services have been considering countermeasures.

Under these circumstances, a new mechanism has been established to quickly share information on suspected fraudulent users among businesses engaged in electronic payment services.

The new system includes the Payments Japan Association, which is a member of payment companies, and six companies such as NTT DoCoMo, KDDI, and LINE Pay. It means registering numbers and e-mail addresses in a common database so that you can check them immediately if another company applies for use.

The business operators participating in the council want to proceed with coordination with related ministries and agencies such as the Financial Services Agency and start operation within the next fiscal year, and also invite other business operators to participate in the damage prevention.
