Regarding the business integration between the "Kansai Supermarket" in Hyogo and Osaka and the operating company of Hankyu Hanshin Department Store, the Osaka High Court has decided to approve the appeal to the Supreme Court filed by the supermarket "OK" in the metropolitan area.

As a result, the whereabouts of the battle over Kansai Super will be left to the judgment of the Supreme Court.

At the general meeting of shareholders of Kansai Super at the end of October, the management integration plan with "H2O Retailing", which operates Hankyu Hanshin Department Store, was approved by a small margin, but it intends to acquire Kansai Super. Last month, "OK" filed a provisional disposition seeking an injunction against the merger procedure, saying that votes that should be treated as abandonment were counted in favor.

The Kobe District Court ordered an injunction, but the Osaka High Court decided on the 7th to cancel the provisional disposition of the injunction, and Kansai Super and H2O merged on the 15th of this month. It is ready to be done.

However, OK filed an appeal against the decision of the Osaka High Court, and the High Court decided on the 8th to approve it.

As a result, the future of the integration will be left to the judgment of the Supreme Court, and the future will remain uncertain.
