Japan Post announced this month that about 350 relocation notices to forward the mail it received to the new address were not processed due to a clerical mistake.

Some of the mail that was not forwarded may include an admission ticket to the polling place for the House of Representatives election.

According to the announcement, about 350 relocation notifications submitted by post offices and mails nationwide and delivered to the management center on the 12th and 14th of this month were not processed due to clerical mistakes.28 It means that I understood it day by day.

It was discovered by a contact from a person who was suspicious that the mail did not arrive.

At this time, the admission ticket for the polling place of the House of Representatives election, which will be voted on the 31st, is being sent, and it is possible that the admission ticket may be included in the mail that was not forwarded. That is.

Japan Post apologizes to the target people and informs them that they can vote for the House of Representatives election without an admission ticket.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, if you can verify your name, address, etc. by bringing a certificate such as a driver's license to the polling place, you can vote without an admission ticket.

Japan Post says, "We take this matter very seriously and give thorough guidance to related employees."
