Mansour bin Mohammed visits Dubai International Airport and reviews the progress of work and services provided to passengers

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Border Ports Security Council, visited Dubai International Airport to see the progress of security work and the facilities provided by the concerned authorities at the vital air port, and to learn about the comfort and safety of travelers and ways to facilitate their travel and arrival procedures to and from the airport.

His Highness praised the efforts of the work teams at Dubai airports, under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Aviation Authority and Supreme Chairman of the Emirates Group, Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and Dubai Air Navigation Services And its employees were keen to enhance the strategy of working in a team spirit, and to achieve the highest levels of excellence in services provided to guests in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency and international quality.

During the visit, His Highness stressed that "the UAE was among the countries most prepared for the (Covid-19) pandemic, and today, thanks to the vision of its wise leadership and the efforts of its loyal men, it is among the countries that recover faster."

His Highness said: "With Dubai overcoming the consequences of the pandemic, and the start of a new phase of growth within various sectors, including the travel and tourism sector, Dubai is preparing to receive large numbers of travelers and visitors through various ports, especially with the launch of the (Expo 2020 Dubai) exhibition, with the participation of 192 country, in conjunction with the start of the new tourist season, and the easing of travel restrictions around the world, which calls for the highest levels of readiness to ensure a safe and smooth passage for users of border crossings.”

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum began his tour at Dubai International Airport from Terminal 3, where he stopped at the work team of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and reviewed the procedures for stamping the smart traveler's passport, as well as the speed of these procedures. Ensuring the speedy arrival of the traveler to his destination without any delay, as well as the security procedures at the various checkpoints at the passenger gates, and the speed and accuracy of completion by security staff, which enhances and supports the reputation of Dubai airports in practicing the best international security experiences applied and internationally approved.

His Highness was keen to follow up the progress of work in the arrivals hall, where he was briefed on all the procedures for receiving arrivals to Dubai and the UAE by customs, police and security officials. His Highness expressed his satisfaction with all the procedures followed at the airport, praising the continuous development and modernization of service facilities, as well as the facilities it provides.
