The Ministry of Commerce website issued a notice on August 18, publicly soliciting opinions on the industry standard (Draft for Solicitation of Comments) of the "Regulations for the Management and Service of Live E-commerce Platforms".

According to the draft for comments, when live broadcast subjects violate the legitimate rights and interests of consumers such as false propaganda, necessary measures shall be taken to protect the rights and interests of consumers, and corresponding penalties shall be imposed on the live broadcast subjects.

It is necessary to establish a credit evaluation system for live broadcast marketing personnel service agencies, anchors, and merchants.

The draft for comments also clarifies the product or service information that is prohibited and restricted by live broadcast e-commerce.
