Developed within Toyota's ED2 design studio located in Nice, the Prologue Aygo X foreshadows the new generation of the small city car that Toyota will now build on its own, since Citroën and Peugeot, former partners, have withdrawn from the adventure.
This 5-door, high-legged car benefits from a very dynamic design that is perfectly suited to this segment popular with a fairly young clientele.

Toyota has yet to publish photos of the interior and has not given any information about its powertrain, which will likely be a small gasoline engine.
The marketing of the next Aygo will begin in 2022.
