Matvienko assessed the prospects of abandoning the dollar in Russia

"The dollar, of course, will not disappear anywhere, it is and will be in circulation," - quoted by RIA Novosti Matvienko.

She stressed that it is necessary to reduce the dependence of the Russian economy on "any one currency."

Earlier, a member of the Federation Council Anatoly Shirokov also commented on the situation with the use of the dollar in the economy.
