[Explanation] As the global new crown vaccine gradually transitions from research and development to mass production, the aviation industry, which has been hit hard by the new crown epidemic, has ushered in the century mission of vaccine transportation.

It is understood that after the special freezer boxes containing vaccines and dry ice are transported by the logistics company truck to the airport, they will be transported on the high-speed conveyor belt through the sorter. Depending on the destination, they will be sent to different freighters to other places. The challenge is to ensure that there is no deviation in temperature throughout the process.

Vaccine is a special medical product. As a biological product, in order to maintain its activity, it must be stored and transported in a predetermined temperature environment throughout the process.

Inactivated vaccines need to be kept in an environment of 2 to 8 degrees.

The nucleic acid vaccine needs to be stored in a deep freezing environment of minus 70 degrees. The global transportation of the new crown vaccine is also a big test for the civil aviation industry.

[Explanation] Compared with general cargo transportation, vaccine transportation is much more complicated. To obtain vaccine transportation qualifications, airlines must first obtain relevant certification issued by the International Air Transport Association.

Our logistics currently has the IATA CEIV Pharma certification. This certification is an aviation medicine cold chain professional certification project initiated by the International Air Transport Association. It is the latest, most demanding and highly recognized certification in the aviation industry.

It can be said that with it, we will be more confident in our actions to smooth the global pharmaceutical supply chain.

[Explanation] It is reported that in mid-November 2020, the International Air Transport Association officially certified Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport as an independent medical logistics verification center.
