[Explanation] Mao Yongxia from Shuangmiao Village, Yangxin County, Shandong Province was an ordinary rural woman. She brought her baby at home without any source of income. She relied on men to work outside.

In the past two years, Mao Yongxia has fallen in love with a craft, that is, the skill of ox bone carving.

Since learning bone sculpting, she has earned more than 3,000 yuan a month, sharing the pressure of the family.

On November 19th, the reporter saw Mao Yongxia in a cattle bone carving workshop in Yangxin County, and each of the frog-shaped bone sculptures and accessories were presented in her ingenious carving.

In the past, there was no income. The father made money. I watched the children at home. Now I can earn money here. It used to be more than two thousand, and now it is more than three thousand.

　　[Explanation] There are not a few rural women in the local area who gain income by mastering a skill like Mao Yongxia. They can learn this craft, thanks to Zhao Guangbing, a "post-80s" cow bone carver, who is the master Mao Yongxia said.

His hometown is Zhao Guangbing from Hengshui, Hebei. He comes from an ordinary peasant family. He knows the importance of learning a craft to support oneself and support the family.

He accumulated a foundation in painting when he was in school, and went to Beijing to work hard, relying entirely on carving skills to raise the "iron rice bowl" and earn money to support his family.

　　In 1998, I was introduced by my cousin to the carving factory in Beijing.

From the beginning, I loved painting. When I was in school, I used a carving knife to carve some small things and play pieces.

In total, I have studied beef bone carving for more than 13 years.

　　[Explanation] In 2016, Zhao Guangbing learned that Yangxin County is rich in cattle bone resources, so he took root here to create cattle bone carvings.

Many exquisite cow bone carving crafts with themes of landscape, flowers and birds, such as the Great Wall of China, the Dragon Flying Crane Dance, and the auspicious clouds, are neatly placed on the display stand of the cow bone carving workshop. Many of them are Zhao Guangbing's proud works.

Zhao Guangbing said that compared with cattle bones from other places, the beef bones produced in Yangxin are thicker, which also laid the foundation for the development of cattle bone carving techniques.

　　This is a big cattle-raising county. It happens that the bones of cows (yes) are the best material for sculpting cow bones. The leg bones here are very thick, the feed is good, and the density is also high. Some other places are special. thin.

　　【Explanation】Using his own carving skills and making full use of local cattle bone materials, many of Zhao Guangbing's crafts have become tourist souvenirs, which are bought and collected by tourists from all over the world.

In the process of creating and collecting cattle bones, Zhao Guangbing discovered that many nearby villagers were idle at home during the slack period of the farming period. He thought of providing local farmers, especially women who are unemployed all the year round, a way to get rich.

Nowadays, Zhao Guangbing has recruited many students and taught them how to carve cow bones from scratch.

The ox bone carving was led by teachers and apprentices, and nearly a hundred people were trained and trained.
