The sixth "Famous Teachers and Apprentices" mentorship program was launched in Hong Kong to cultivate more scientific and technological talents. 56 well-known Hong Kong scientists and engineers as mentors, including Teng Jinguang, President of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, who participated in the program for the first time.
The program has cultivated nearly 700 "high-level apprentices" who have a strong interest in science and engineering since its launch in 2018. Students participating in program expressed that they plan to enroll in university courses related to scientific research in the future.
