The president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez and the second vice president, Pablo Iglesias, are preparing an act
to present next Tuesday
the basic lines on which the General State Budgets for 2021 are based, before the bill is approved by the Minister council.
Sources close to the Government have indicated to EFE that, as planned, the public accounts for 2021 will be announced by Sánchez and Iglesias, predictably in a brief act that will take place
early on Tuesday.
The intention is for the bill to be
approved by the Council of Ministers that same day,
so that it can begin its processing in Congress as soon as possible.
Other sources have explained to EFE that the Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, and the Secretary of State for Social Rights and economic leader of United We Can, Nacho Álvarez,
finalize
the fiscal measures that will be implemented next year, as well as items related to housing or the increase in the IPREM, the benchmark indicator for social assistance.
