The ENOC Group has opened a new service station in the Al Dhaid area of the Emirate of Sharjah, bringing the number of stations that the group has opened in the emirate to five, and the total number of its stations to 144.

The group was working to accelerate the steps of opening the service station in response to current conditions, which would enable front-line workers and other essential service providers to have easy access to fuel filling services and other products provided by retail stores.

The expansion in the Emirate of Sharjah comes within the framework of the group’s long-term strategic plan to enhance its presence in the retail sector in the UAE, by increasing the total number of its stations to 193 by the end of the year 2021.

The new plant extends over an area of 40,000 square feet, and is equipped with the latest technologies and innovative features intended to meet the needs of customers who live in Al Dhaid. It will include a "Zoom" store that serves fast food and various drinks.

Customers can pay for fuel at the station and purchase from the Zoom store safely and easily while adhering to the social separation guidelines by using the ENOCPay feature, the group's previously launched digital payment platform for smartphones without having to pay cash or even cards.

They can also pay in cash or via Vehicle Identification System (ViP), Nol Cards, Dubai Smart Government application, Dubai Now, and debit and credit cards.

"The opening of the new service station in the Emirate of Sharjah highlights our ambitious vision to invest in the growing infrastructure of the country in order to meet the needs of fuel supply on an ongoing basis," said Saif Hameed Al Falasi, CEO of the ENOC Group.
