Dozens of possible new infections from the Corona virus were detected today, on board the cruise ship "Artania", which was allowed to dock in the port of Fremantle in western Australia, after the Australian Coast Guard had prevented its anchoring since last Tuesday.

The authorities in the state of Western Australia prevented the ship, which is mostly German, from anchoring in "Fremantle", and asked it to leave Australian waters and continue sailing towards South Africa, its main destination.

State Head of State Mark McGowan revealed that the decision to allow the German ship to dock was dictated by the increase in the potential "Corona" virus infections on board that reached a "critical" level.

Dozens of passengers became ill with the symptoms of HIV infection. A medical team who boarded the ship diagnosed 46 suspected cases of corona infection, one of which required hospitalization.

This week, two passengers with the disease were evacuated from the ship and taken to hospital.
