Osaka Prefecture health officials announced that a woman was infected with the Coruna virus for the second time. "This is a case that has not occurred anywhere in the country, someone has been infected and cured, and then infected again," the officials said.
The officials pointed out that the woman was a tourist guide, and worked with a group of tourists from the Chinese city of Wuhan, the focus of the virus outbreak last month, after which she was diagnosed with the virus and transferred to the hospital.
They explained that the woman recovered early this month, but after two weeks, she began to feel pain in the throat and chest.
She was infected with Corona virus again on Wednesday. Japan has recorded about 900 confirmed cases of the virus.
Seven people died from the virus, including four on board the Diamond Princess.
