The prices of road fuels sold in French service stations have seen their rise continue last week, according to official figures released Monday. Diesel, the best-selling fuel with nearly 80% of volumes, was posted at 1.4306 euros per liter, up 0.79 cents from the previous week, according to weekly data published by the Ministry of Finance. Noticeable increase on the SP95-E10
The price per liter of unleaded petrol 95 (super SP95) reached 1.5309 euros, an increase of 1.02 cents. The SP95-E10, which contains up to 10% ethanol, was on the same trend: 1.5110 euro, a gain of 1.25 centimes.
Finally, unleaded 98 (SP98) reached 1.5957 euro, an increase of 1.05 centime. Fuel prices at the pump vary according to several parameters such as the price of a barrel of oil, the euro-dollar exchange rate, the level of stocks of petroleum products and demand, as well as taxes.
