Media: A company from Bahrain is ready to invest € 500 million in Crimea
An investment company from Bahrain can invest € 500 million in infrastructure projects in the Crimea. The newspaper Izvestia reports this with reference to Stefan Dovin, a representative of a Bahraini company in Central and Eastern Europe.
According to him, the company is ready to start implementing projects by the end of the year. As the company representative noted, in April a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Russian and Bahraini parties.
“For example, if we start implementing projects in the field of road construction or railway infrastructure, then investments in the Crimea will reach an amount of about € 500 million, or even more,” Dovina said.
He noted that Bahraini company sees a large investment potential in the peninsula.
In June, Kryminform reported that Crimea signed three investment agreements worth 450 million rubles as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
