BelTA informs about this with reference to the director general of Naftan, Alexander Demidov.

According to him, at present, the northern branch of the Surgut-Polotsk pipeline is working at 10% of its load, and there is oil in it that corresponds to GOST.

There are technical possibilities for this maneuver, Demidov stressed.

Earlier, Minsk restricted the export of petroleum products due to the quality of Russian oil.

On April 19, the press secretary of the Belneftekhim concern, Marina Kostyuchenko, announced a “sharp deterioration in the quality” of oil flowing through the pipeline from Russia.
