After threatening to slit the throat of his philosophy teacher on a social network, a 16-year-old high school student was arrested this Tuesday morning in Armentières, in the North. The teenager's threats were reported on the Pharos platform, a government site for reporting illegal content online.

A 16-year-old high school student was arrested Tuesday morning in Armentières, in the North, after threatening to slit the throat of his philosophy teacher on a social network, we learned Wednesday from two police sources. This teenager, unknown to the justice system, had made these threats on Monday to his comrades on this social network, said one of his sources. It was then reported on the Pharos platform, a government site for reporting illegal content online.

He was arrested early Tuesday morning, then placed in police custody, according to police sources. A police force was then set up around the establishment, the Paul Hazard high school. The teacher concerned filed a complaint, according to these same sources.
