But Ranga Yogeshwar sees a lot of positives, especially in the energy transition and in a change in awareness for more climate protection, as he reports in the podcast conversation.

"The problem is that we in Germany carry a backpack of a successful economic history," says the science journalist. "Other nations don't have that, they can start from scratch. But I believe that if we get a different feeling: not the compulsion 'you have to', but the desire to do so because it's fun, then the energy transition will be a liberation."
