In Isère, residents of the small village of Châteauvilain are still shocked after the discovery on Monday of two charred bodies in a house in which a couple lived and their son, Valentin, who is currently missing. An appeal for witnesses has been launched in an attempt to locate the 15-year-old.

Valentin has been missing since Monday, when the two bodies were found almost completely charred amid the ashes of the family home. According to the first elements of the investigation, the two remains are those of the teenager's parents. They were reportedly shot in the chest and head before their house caught fire. For the moment, investigators do not have more information about the circumstances of their deaths, nor about the disappearance of the young man.
