"A symphony of different textures... A fucking wonder... You're going to freak out." This is how Dabiz Muñoz refers to his "latest work of art" as he shows it (and proves it) in a recent video posted on his social networks. This is the Häagen-Dazs nougat with macadamia nuts from its XO brand that, together with the nacho nougat with white chocolate, has just launched for this Christmas.

These two new flavours join those designed last year by the award-winning chef from Madrid: the waffle XO and the Pedroche cheesecake XO. They can now be purchased in El Corte Inglés stores for 16.50 euros for the 300-gram case.

Inspired by the mythical Häagen-Dazs vanilla tub with caramelized macadamia nuts, the first of the nougat that Muñoz has created for these holidays seeks to preserve, according to the chef, the creaminess of vanilla ice cream and milk with the crunchy texture of walnuts. It is "a nougat made with a caramelized macadamia nut praline, vanilla clouds, which contrast with the white chocolate coating, and a milk mousse with yuzu toffee".

The second novelty of the season is a little more daring: nacho and white chocolate nougat: an extra crunchy nacho praline with white chocolate and melting caramel of pineapple and spicy.

In addition to these two new launches, Muñoz, awarded as the best chef in the world for the third consecutive year, retains the two nougat presented last year; the waffle and toasted salted caramel and the Pedroche cheesecake.
