Professional volleyball player Jae-seong Cho referred to himself as a 'participant in military service corruption'.

Jo, who even posted an apology on social media, is known to have admitted all charges during the prosecution's investigation the day before yesterday (4th).

A professional soccer player was also investigated by the prosecution for being involved in military service corruption.

In the midst of this, it was found that the subjects of the investigation by the Seoul Southern District Prosecutor's Office and the Military Manpower Administration's joint investigation team included players in other sports besides volleyball and soccer.

According to the Office of Representative Bae Jin-gyo of the National Assembly Defense Committee, the joint investigation team is investigating equestrian and bowling players as being involved in military service corruption.

It is said that fitness trainers and rappers were also included in the investigation on the same charge.

Dozens of people, including them, are suspected of evading military service by using epilepsy, a tactic used by military service broker Gu Mo.

However, due to the exploitation of the difficult-to-decipher characteristics of epilepsy, looking at the status of exemption from military service over the past few years, no one has been found to have a neurological disease such as epilepsy.

In the midst of this, the Korean Epilepsy Society issued a statement saying, "We strongly condemn the criminal act of escaping military service for epilepsy."
