Three family members in their 60s and 70s who slept in a steam room made for home use were poisoned by carbon monoxide (CO) and almost lost their lives.



According to the police and fire authorities, today (27th) at around 7:47 am in Heungwol-ri, Yeongwol-eup, Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do, three women, including A (76, female), received a report that they were confused or unconscious.



It is known that they reported feeling abnormal symptoms while sleeping in a mud brick jjimjilbang installed on one side of the house.



He was transferred to hospitals in Wonju and Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do, and is receiving treatment, and it is said that there is no danger to his life.



Police believe the accident occurred when carbon monoxide leaked out and are investigating the circumstances.
