In the afternoon of the 2023 College Scholastic Ability Test English listening evaluation, it is a hot topic as flights are captured wandering the sky in a row without landing.

Yesterday (16th), the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said, "On the day of the CSAT, from 1:05 to 40, take-off and landing are prohibited in all areas of Korea."

As a result of this measure, aircraft flying in the airspace at that time had to wait more than 3 km from the ground.

As a result of checking a site that shows real-time aircraft routes, flights that failed to land centered on Jeju Island drew a circular trajectory and drove through the sky.

Some aircraft also spent time circling Jeju Island in an elliptical shape or cutting into a figure eight.

When the time for the English listening test for the CSAT ended, the flights that stayed in the sky landed at Jeju Airport as promised, and the flights waiting at Jeju Airport began to take off.

Meanwhile, at the same time, a photo of planes that stopped taking off and landing at Incheon International Airport was released.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, with this measure, the flight times of a total of 77 flights, including 18 international flights and 59 domestic flights scheduled to operate at that time, were adjusted before and after the listening evaluation.
