Earlier in the morning, North Korea issued a discourse criticizing the Korea-US-Japan summit on the 13th in the name of Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui.

He argued that the more the US strengthens its provision of extended deterrence to North Korea, the more fierce North Korea's military response will be, and that the trilateral mock board of South Korea, the US and Japan will drive the situation on the Korean Peninsula into a more unpredictable phase.

The B-1B, which flew from Guam, arrived at the US military base in Japan, which is 20 minutes away from North Korea, and held an emergency refueling drill for rapid operation.

Aegis ships from South Korea and the U.S. also held joint missile defense drills.
