The Yongsan Police Station announced on the 14th that it had booked A, a woman in her 50s, and B, a teenager, on charges of fraud, impersonating the bereaved family of the Itaewon disaster.
Mr. A's mother and mother impersonated the bereaved family, saying that her son died in a disaster in the Itaewon Station memorial space, and is accused of receiving clothing, cash, and meals.
Their fraud was revealed when the list of victims of the disaster was released.
