The Special Investigation Headquarters, which is investigating the Itaewon disaster, summoned the head of the Central Disaster and Safety Situation Office of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.

The Central Disaster and Safety Management Center is an organization directly under the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, which plays a role in comprehensively managing disaster safety and crisis situations, such as disseminating information received from the police and fire department to related organizations in the event of a disaster.

Previously, it was confirmed that the special edition summoned and investigated employees of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security privately from yesterday (14th).

It is known that the special edition is looking at the time the accident situation was transmitted against them and whether the Ministry of Public Administration and Security responded appropriately after the transmission.

It is also said that a compulsory investigation is being considered to secure data necessary for the investigation, such as the situation reporting system within the Ministry of Public Administration and Security and police and fire communication logs.
