Comeback of the 6th

Leica is bringing back a legend: 38 years after its premiere, the Leica M6 will be available again from November.

Around 175,000 of these rangefinder cameras for 35mm film were built up to 2002.

The technical details of the analog camera have been carefully updated: the large red Leica logo, a rangefinder with 0.72x magnification and the mechanically controlled cloth shutter (one to 1/1000 second) with the light-colored reflection zone for exposure metering correspond to the historical one Version.

New features of the housing, which weighs 575 grams and costs 5050 euros, include the top cap milled from brass, once made of aluminium, and the punctiform display for correct exposure in the viewfinder.
